A day at the Gardens

Our day at the huntington library. We went with Gavins best buddy and his dad. We toured the gardens and went inside the mansion, which is now a museum. we went into a room that was used as a study back in the 1700's. They has a bungy line that kept people from touching the exhibits. But no Bungy could stop our son as he ducked under and ran on the very old rug to sit in a very old chair. We didnt at first realize it was our child that had just done this. The security guy was there in a second to chew us out. Gavin didnt know what was going on as everyone was yelling at him. He saw a chair and simply wanted to sit in it. Oh the joys of having a Gavin.

Super
high energy and so many places to run. A childs paradise.
Can you see the monsters in the mist? This is the cloud forest room at the Huntington Library gardens.
This is our recent remodel. We cleared out all the stuff in our backyard and had it landscaped. I think the statues are a real nice touch.
The magic black dirt. The boys would have stayed all day playing in it. Gavin still talks about it. i remember getting a magnet and sucking up this stuff from the dirt to play with.

Later that day we went to art in the park. When we had gotten there we started to look around a bit when we heard a group of people laughing hesterically. we turned to find that Gavin had pulled his pants down to his ankles and was peeing in the grass amongst all the people. He didnt really see what was wrong with that. Jared ran over but you cant exactly tell someone to stop peeing mid pee! Oh the joys of raising a Gavin. He did give us something to laugh about for years and years.

Some Randomness

I dont know what to say except that he looks good in blue.

Look really close cause its not just a butterfly.

Chocolate easter bunny goodness. It might not be a good thing that he has his mothers sweet tooth. And yes we let him run around like a half naked savage.
