Ward Christmas party Santa. Gavin has a red mustache, Evidence he's been sampling the punch.
It was all about the goody bag. He didnt care who gave it to him. Actually Santa was pretty cool.
We enrolled Gavin in a 7 week T-ball class to bring out his inner ball player. It hasnt gone over too well because he refuses to participate unless we get on his case. He does really well when he actually does participate. He loves to hit the ball of course. He is a natural at it.
Running the bases!.....reluctantly.
Gloving up for some catch time.
Waiting for the others to get in line to catch the ball.
Great catch!!
I know this picture looks similiar to the last post but this is in fact a different bird. Sad story is our last bird, Queso, was gobbled up by our dog who no longer lives here. RIP Queso. We miss him terribly. We have now adopted Pip. She is very sweet and loves her people. She must be sitting on your shoulder at all times. She will get a bit bigger and will lose all her green feathers and will transform into a yellow and orange parrot. We are pretty happy with our little birdie family member. And on a side note, I think our little guinea pig might be having puppies soon. Will keep you posted.
This is our newest family member. He is a sun conure, a small parrot. He is just a little baby and still needs to be hand fed a couple times a day for the next few weeks. He will eventually lose his green feathers and be mostly yellow and orange with some blue and green on his wings. He is a lovey little bird and likes to sleep wrapped up in your shirt. He makes little birdy noises when he gets hungry and when he eats. As he gets older he will also get louder. We got him a big beautiful cage and he will be a very spoiled bird.

Gavins first fishing trip. Grandpa Green took him to a little pond and set him up for some good fishing. He was entertained for to long and was ready to go home when he didnt catch anything in the first five minutes. But Grandpa caught some fishies and Gavin got to hold them and got to throw them back into the pond. Fun stuff!
It started with a single guinea pig named Chipmunk. He is cute and friendly but very lonely.
Then came rusty. A companion pig for Chipmunk and a real sweetheart.
The came Eva. She was a surprise as we had no intention of getting anymore piggies. But she is the cutest thing you have ever seen and she talks up a storm. She is just itty-bitty and has the crazy hair-do.
Here are all the children playing together. Gavin is sometimes a brute to them but he tries to be good. They will be the tamest pigs ever or the most psychologically damaged from his attention.
We went up to Lake Arrowhead for our little family Christmas. It was great. Gavin was very skeptical when we told him that Santa would come down his chimney and leave him presents if he went to sleep on Christmas eve. But when he got up in the morning and saw that Santa did in fact leave presents he was so excited.
The opening of the stocking was the first order of business.
Gavin loves to play with tools so we got him some cool tools which he absolutely loved. He was fixing everything.
Spiderman is the hero of choice for now so we got him some cool Spiderman toys. It was so much fun to have him understand Christmas this year. He didnt waste any time when it came to opening presents.
