They are always so precious and quiet and innocent in sleep. You watch their little chest move up and down as they breathe. You feel so grateful to be given such a little treasure...............awwwww................................

My son the goat and sheep wrangler. I've never seen a kid more excited than Gavin to body slam sheep and goats. He even did a little muttin bustin when he jumped on a sheep and it took off running with him on it. He thought it was cool, and so did the people watching.

Labor Day

We went to the beach house at Pismo during Labor Day weekend. Gavin enjoyed spending time with his cousins. They went riding quads and Gavin wanted to go with them. Maybe in a few years buddy. We took him for a ride down to Grover Beach in his bike trailer. This is what he looked like while I was getting his trailer ready. He likes going for rides with the family.

We always stop by the Rock N' Roll Diner in Pismo. They have the best milkshakes. This was Gavin's first time at the beach house, but I'm sure we'll be back soon. He had a great time.

Trip To The Aquarium

Gavin loves fish and water. So I thought he would love a trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We went with some friends and had a good time. Gavin thought the tanks he could lean on and look into were really cool. The seal tank was pretty neat. They swam back and forth in front of Gavin. He had fun just staring at the tanks full of water. He got to pet some rays and little sharks. He thought that he should be allowed into the tank to join the fish. I think his favorite part had to be chasing the pigeons and watching the Lorakeets (little parrots).

Gavin's Kryptonite

There aren't too many things that Gavin is afraid of, in fact he's pretty fearless. But recently I have found his greatest fear. It came as a surprise. Thinking I would get Gavin some foam for his bathtime, I bought two cans of cool colored foam. This was going to be lot's of fun, or so I thought. I made up Gavins bath and plopped him in. I whipped out some cool foam and put it all over him. Then there came the almost blood curling scream. He started freaking out like I've never seen. He reached towards me with outstretched foamy arms sobbing and half screaming. I rinsed him off and the foam fell into the tub around him. He jumped up and tried crawling out of the tub screaming cause the foam was in the water. I took him out and soothed his fears. But that isn't the end of it. I'm evil in some ways!! To show Jared what Gavin does when facing his fear I took the scary foam and sprayed some on Gav. And as the picture shows he still doesn't like it!
